THE PARIS NEWS Mon., Oct. 11, 1993, p.12A. 'Madeline E. Ingram, 82, 1705 E. Booth, died Sunday, Oct. 10, at 1:20 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Blake Dunagan and Dr. Dwight Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ingram was born Aug. 4, 1911, in Charleston, a daughter of E.G. and Nell Oates Peters. She attended Charleston schools and married Phillip Ingram May 24, 1930, in Hugo. He died Feb. 1, 1986. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a machine operator for Nahas & Co. for many years. She had done volunteer work with the mentally retarded through the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Ingram of Paris and Tommy and Glenna Ingram of Paris; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Jimmy King of Paris; a daughter-in-law, Ora Dee Lewis Ingram of Mesquite; two brothers, Thomas Peters of Cooper and Brownie Peters of Cedar Hill; five grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby (Chief) Ingram in April, 1989. Pallbearers will be Steve Ingram, Shane Ingram, Rio Ingram, Jason Ingram, Rhett King, Brandon Benefield, Brian Benefield, Matt Ingram, and Earl Ingram. If desired, memorials may be made to either the Special Education Department of First Baptist Church or to a charity of choice.' This is also entered under surname Peters.
