THE PARIS NEWS-Apr.24,1985-Irene Ingram of Arlington, wife of the late Ray F. Ingram, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Arlington Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Risinger, pastor of the Northwest Christian Church, and Dr. Raymond A. Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and will be at the Best Western Motel in Paris. Mrs. Ingram was born on July 6, 1910, in Bairdstown, a daughter of William H. and Catherine May. She attended public schools in Bairdstown and Paris. She married Ray Ingram on May 21,1927. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1980. They lived in the Jennings community until the time of his death. She was a member of the Northwest Christian Church, where she was in the Discussion Sunday school class. She was active in civic affairs and was involved in the Women's Home Demonstration Clubs while living in Lamar County. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Shelby (Virginia) Stevens of Fort Worth; Mrs. Robert (Nancy) LaPrede of Irving; one sister, Ruth Morton of Fort Worth; one brother, Ralph H. May of Paris; five grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
