THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, September 20, 1964: "Services for Mrs. E. F. Ingram, 86, who lived on Jefferson Rd., were held Saturday at 3 p.m., in Fry & Gibbs chapel by the Rev. Don McCoy, pastor of First Christian Church, and the Rev. Harvey Redford, former pastor here. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Ingram died Friday at 1:05 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital after being ill for three or four years. Born May 18, 1878, in View Point community, south of Paris, Mrs. Ingram was the former Miss Ione Martin. She was the daughter of the late Jim Martin and Lou Bradley Martin, who are pioneer settlers of the old Ozark community, now known as View Point. She attended local public schools and a special school at Bogata. In 1899 she married E. F. Ingram, who preceded her in death in May 1960. A long-time member of First Christian Church here, Mrs. Ingram was a member of Sallee Bible Class. She was active in Parent-Teacher Association work here and was also a former member of the Paris Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lula Mae Thompson of Paris; two sons, Martin Ingram and Roy Ingram, both of Paris; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
