THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, October 21, 1937, p. 2: “CARL INGRAM DIES OF TYPHOID FEVER. Funeral Services for Post Oak Man Will Be Held Friday. Carl Ingram of Post Oak community, northwest of Paris, died of typhoid fever Thursday morning at 1 o’clock at Lamar hospital, where his little daughter Laoma is ill also with fever. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o’clock by the Rev. J. W. Milligan, Baptist pastor from Unity, at Post Oak church with burial in the cemetery there. Survivors are Mrs. Ingram and five children.”
