| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Wed., Feb. 7, 1973. 'Mrs. Leota McCain Igo, who formerly lived at 660 Pine Bluff, died in Pleasant Grove Nursing Home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6. Funeral services are pending at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Igo was born Sep. 11, 1877, in Bogata, a daughter of Peter W. and Edna Melinda (Murphy) McCain. She had lived in Paris since the early 1920's and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Susie Igo Blair of Paris, with whom she had made her home for a number of years; Mrs. A. M. DeBerry of Austin; and Mrs. G.L. Reeves of Tyler; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Clifford McCain and Dan McCain, both of Bogata.' Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home furnished information on place of burial as Bogata Cemetery, Bogata, TX. |
