THE PARIS NEWS Fri., Oct. 12, 1962 p.6. 'Lemuel H. Igo, 83, longtime farmer and a retired mail carrier, died at home here Friday at 8:15 a.m. after long illness. Grant Funeral Home had charge of arrangements for services here which awaited word from relatives out of town. Born at Madres in Red River County, Sept. 23, 1879, Lemuel Igo was a son of Ephraim H. & Fannie Igo. He was a Baptist, a member of the Woodmen of the World. Besides farming and carrying rural mail, he also had been bookkeeper for a gin here. He married Miss Lessie Moore in 1906, and she survives, besides one son Millard Igo, also of Deport, and 6 other descendants, and one sister, Miss Lucy Igo, Bogata.' Double marker with Lessie Carrie Igo. Near Betty B. Reese and Millard M. Igo.
