THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Feb. 20, 1996, p. 12A: 'Jimmy Thompson, 54, of Dallas, died at his home Monday, Feb. 19, 1996. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Long Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Thompson was born Dec. 16, 1941, in Roxton, a son of Charlie Lee and Alva Myers Thompson. He married Debbie Oishei Aug. 18, 1981. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Emily Ann Thompson of Dallas; his mother who lives in Dallas; three brothers, Gary Thompson of Paris, Harold Thompson and Billy Thompson, both of Dallas; and a sister, Faye Vaughn of Paris.'
Buried next to Charlie L. Thompson.
