THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Jan. 17, 1935, p. 9: 'Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Raymond Irwin, 23 years old, who died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home on South Seventeenth street, and burial was at Long Cemetery. The service was conducted by the Rev. W. N. Easom. Mr. Irwin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Irwin, a small daughter, Billy Louise; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Irwin of Powderly, two brothers, Benzel and J. C. Irwin of Powderly, a sister, Bertie Irwin of Paris and two step-brothers, Jack and Floyd Dunmon.'
Children names as inscribed on stone were Billy and Patsy Irwin.
Lamar County Marriage Record Book 37, page 296 shows Raymond Irwin married Florence McGrew on 25 Feb 1931.
