| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Nov. 7, 1994, p. 14A: 'Selma Baxter, 75, of Paris Nursing Home died there Thursday, Nov. 3, 1994. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Elsom officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Mrs. Baxter was born April 1, 1919, in Capitan, NM, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Chaves. She married John Richard Baxter in 1951. [Spouses obituary has 1950.] Surviving are her husband; two sons, Derek Dee Baxter and John Anthony Baxter; a brother, Isaac Chaves of Sunset, NM; and a sister, Adelia Corning of Arkansas.' |
