Notes

LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, December 1977: "Elbert Bybee, 82, formerly of Paris, died at a Euless Nursing Home, Wednesday, December 14, 1977. Services were held Thursday, December 16, at the Fry and Gibbs Funeral home with Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Interment was made in the Union Grove Cemetery. Mr. Bybee was born in Paris on October 10, 1895, son of James Bybee and Martha Martin Bybee. In 1955 he retired from farming and moved to Ft. Worth. Survivors include three sons, Charles Bybee of Euless, Porter Bybee of Ft. Worth, Palmer Bybee of Conroe; two daughters, Mrs. John Deluca of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Mrs. Evelyn Renniker of Canton, Ohio; one brother, Jay Bybee, of Paris, and eleven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Bybee, Dell Bybee, Steve Bybee, Ricky Bybee, Bobby Bybee and H. G. Fowler."
