Services at 1 p.m. Tue., Nov. 3, in the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Roy M. Gates. Maxey Funeral Home in charge. Born in Paris, a son of Thomas Burton Sr. & Geneva Bowens Burton, he was a Baptist & a 1964 graduate of Gibbons High School. He was a member of Olive Branch Lodge A&FM No. 19 & was owner & operator of Rodney's Club, formerly Sergio's. Surviving are his parents; 2 brothers, Thomas Burton Jr. of Paris & Dwight Burton of Paris; 2 sisters, Margaret Clement & Elizabeth Walters, both of Paris.' |
