| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Oct. 24, 1993, p.8A. 'Nannie Bell Burthay, 87, of Blossom died Saturday, Oct. 23, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. O.D. Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family will also be at 535-15th SE. Mrs. Burthay was born Sep. 17, 1906, in Blossom, a daughter of John Ed and Nellie Jane Gossett Arnold. She married Johnnie Bee Burthay in 1936 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1986. She is survived by two sisters, Grace Lewis and Helen Godfrey of Paris; and several nieces and nephews.' |
