LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Oct. 27, 1983. 'HUGO, OK. -J. S. (Jack) Bugg, 206 E. Brown, Hugo, died Tue., Oct. 25, at McCuistion Medical Center. Services held at 10 a.m. Thu., Oct. 27, at Lampton-Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Milburn Burrow. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Born in Paris, a son of Mr. & Mrs. W.C. Bugg. He was retired from the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad. He was married to Beatrice Carter on Jan. 3, 1942. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hugo, the Masonic Lodge No. 217, AF and AM, Hugo American Legion Post. He was a veteran of WWI. Survivors are his wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Warren 'Billie' Simpson, Mrs. Lue Beesley & Ms. Henry 'Sue' Lyles Jr., all of Hugo; 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. The family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist church in Hugo in lieu of flowers.'
