THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Tuesday. July 31, 1917, p. 5: "J. T. Bryson, about fifty-five years old, who lived on the Hardy farm two miles east of Howland, died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He leaves a wife and five children. The burial will be at Evergreen cemetery at 11 o'clock this morning."
On the same stone with Zella Pearl Bryson. Nickname is "Stone."
