From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; Daughter of Floyd D. & Mae Barksdale Garner. Born in McGregor, died in Lamar County.

THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 30 Jun 1988. 'Hazel Norene Bryant, 225 E. Cherry, died on Sunday, 26 Jun 1988, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 29 Jun, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Elmer LeRoy officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Bryant was born on 28 Mar 1907, in McGregor, a daughter of Floyd B. Garner and Mae Barksdale Garner. She married Everett Eugene Bryant on 22 Aug 1925. He preceded her in death on 10 Jul 1975. She was a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Don Bryant of Missouri City; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Janelle) Greene of Paris and Mrs. Hoyle (Wanda) Pomroy of Irving; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.'
