THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, 6 Oct 1942: "Mrs. Lucy Bryan - Blossom (Special) - Funeral service for Mrs. Lucy Bryan who died of a heart attack Sunday night was held Monday afternoon at the Nazarene Church by the Rev. R. C. Richey, assisted by the pastor, the Rev. J. E. Perryman. Nephews were pallbearers and interment was made in Union Grove Cemetery by Carl Griffin, funeral director here. Mrs. Bryan leaves a daughter, Miss Leona Bryan, with whom she made her home here; two sisters, Mrs. W. M. Utz of Paris and Mrs. Betty Stancell of Blossom, besides a brother, J. M. Stone of Deport."
