THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Oct. 25, 1995, p.10A. 'Carrie B. Bryan, 80, of Paris died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lane Park officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Gardens. Mrs. Bryan was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Charleston, a daughter of Tom and Mary George. She married William Bailey Bryan in 1939. He died in April 1966. She was a nurse in the Paris area and was a member of Springlake Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Rhonda Bryan of Paris; a daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Brenda Hampton of Paris; four grandchildren, Clint Bryan, Kevin Bryan, Kessa Hampton and Wade Hampton; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Clint Bryan, Kevin Bryan, Lewis Clement, Danny Hooten, Joe Hampton and Melo Hampton.'
