THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, 1 Mar 1917, p. 5: “Little Blanche, the three-year-old daughter of T. D. Bruce, superintendent of the Southland Cotton Oil company, died at 11:40 o’clock yesterday morning at the family residence, 465 South Church Street, of pneumonia and measles. The body will be taken to Ladonia this morning for burial.”
