THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, June 6, 1961, p. 2: “Brownlee Infant - Barbara Sulynn, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. (Gene) Brownlee. Paris, Rt. 1, died here Monday at 2 p.m. at Lamar Medical Center, where she was born Sunday. Graveside rites were set Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mount Olive community cemetery, the Rev. Eddie Oats officiating and Gene Roden & Sons making interment. Besides the father and the mother, the former Miss Carol Ricketts, survivors are a sister and brother, Jean Anne and Bobby Carl; three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brownlee, Paris, Rt. 2, and Mrs. W. E. Ricketts, 602-3rd SW here, and two great-grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Elliott, Paris.”
