From an untitled obituary with a handwritten date of 26 Dec 1974: 'Funeral services are pending with Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo, for Paul Brown, 60 year-old resident of Arthur City. He died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris. Born 11 Sep 1914 in Hugo, Paul Brown was a son of George and Addie Brown. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Brown [sic; should be Roberson]; 15 sons and daughters and 19 grandchildren. The former are Glenn Brown, Harvey Brown and Mrs. Paulette Wharton all of Arthur City, Keithern Brown, Vicky Brown, Mickey Brown, Mrs. Uvyone McCurry, Miss Kay Brown, Miss Alfreda Brown and Miss Pamela Brown, all of Chicota, Mrs. Georgia McQueen of Brookston, Miss Elaine Brown of Dallas, James Brown and Mrs. Rena Brewer both of Needmore, Ark., and Mrs. Nance Wagoner of Whitesboro, Okla. Four brothers and one sister also survive.'
