THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, September 15, 1960, p. 2: Patsy Ruth Brown: “Miss Patsy Ruth Brown, 20, Negro resident of 707 Blake Road here, died at home Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. after illness. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Mrs. Connie Mae Anderson and Tom Anderson of Paris; a brother, Eddie Eugene Brown, San Diego, Calif.; and two sisters: Miss Emma Lee Brown and Miss Annie Verne Brown, Paris. Ferguson Funeral Home has charge of burial arrangements.”
