THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 08, 2007: "Mary Helen Brown, 86, of Paris, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Paris Healthcare Center. Starrett-Rose Funeral Home conducts graveside rites at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. L. C. Stout officiating. She was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Newsom, Camp County, a daughter of Cleatus Virgil and Maye Alberta Yates Brown Sr. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; a niece, Belinda Brown; a sister-in-law, Rosie Brown; and two brothers-in-law, Clifford Valentine and D. L. Coe. Survivors include two sisters, Jerri Valentine of Blossom and Margaret Joe Coe of White Settlement; three brothers, Cleatus Virgil Brown Jr. and wife, Virginia, of Whitehouse, Jackie Leon Brown and wife, LaJoyce, of Waxahachie and Charles R. Brown of Blossom; two nephews, Bill Valentine of Blossom and Kenneth Coe of Burleson; six nieces, Sandra Tatum of Springtown, Becky Brown of Petalupe, Calif., Angie Brown of Whitehouse, Kathy Crostwait of Atlanta, Ga., Benita Brown and Betina Brown, both of Waxahachie; and three great-nieces, Jordan, Sarah, and Anna.
