| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, 29 Feb 1938: "Mrs Julia A. Brown of Selfs, Fannin county, 79 years old, died Saturday night at 8:30 o’clock at the home of her son, Clyde Brown, and funeral services were held at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Tigertown cemetery by the Rev. J. S. Hughes, Methodist pastor at Petty. Survivors are two sons, Clyde of Selfs, and A. F. Brown of Tigertown; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a half brother, Newt Short of Milburn, Okla. Pallbearers were Creed Brown, J. B. and Grey Collins, M. S. and W. F. Wood and T. J.
