THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, December 12, 1965, p. 8: “BROOKS INFANT. Last rites for Christopher Douglas Brooks, four-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lawrence Brooks, 622 Winnetka Drive, Dallas, will be held in Paris, Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Gene Roden & Sons chapel. Interment will be made here in Evergreen Cemetery. The child, who died Friday was one of twins born in Dallas Aug. 19, 1965, to Jimmy Lawrence Brooks and the former Wanda Moore. Surviving are the parents; his twin, Synthia Denine, and three grandparents. Mrs. Letha Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Moore, all of Paris.”
