THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, Jan.7, 1982, pg. 4: "Mrs. J. B.(Deloice) Bristow, 75, Rt. 1, Point Royal, Chandler, Texas, died Wednesday at her home. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack DeHart officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Bristow was born August 3, 1906 in Minter, a daughter of Robert Kyle and Lula Kennedy Kyle. She was married to John Bea Bristow on June 15, 1924, in Rockford. Mr. Bristow died Nov. 28, 1976. She is survived by one son, Jack Bristow of Chandler; one daughter, Mrs. Sammy (Alta Lou) Leverett of Paris; two brothers, the Rev. V. O. Kyle of Paris and Delma Kyle of Lubbock; one sister, Mrs. Herbert Allen of Cunningham; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home."
