| Notes LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, October 30, 1986: “Lonnie Dorrell Brimmage, 3012 Browne Dr., Garland, died Saturday, Oct. 18, in Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas. Services were held at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Garland on Monday, Oct. 20. The Rev. Roger McDonald and the Rev. Carr Suter officiated. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery at Petty with the Rev. Terry Atkinson of Roxton officiating. Mr. Brimmage was born March 3, 1913, in the Noble community, a son of Lonnie Brooks and Ollie Mae McBurnett Brimmage. He married Lola Redding Turner on Sept. 3, 1943. She died April 24, 2976. Surviving are a daughter, Darlene Brimmage of Petty; one son, Lonnie Dorrell Brimmage Jr.; two granddaughters, Niki and Sarah Brimmage, all of Garland; three brothers, Granville Brimmage of Petty, James Brimmage of Mount Pleasant and Adolph Brimmage of Garland; six sisters, Signa Crofford of Dallas, Lelia Chappell of Eagle Mountain Lake, Camilla Seeley and Gwenelle Riddle, both of Irving, Armithea Norris of Frisco, and LaWanda Fox of Garland; and two grandchildren.” Transcribed by Debra Usry.
