THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, October 6, 1968, p. 11: "The funeral of Edward J. Brembry Jr., 714-1st NE, longtime employee of Dr. R. L. Lewis' family, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Mount Zion Methodist Church by the pastor, the Rev. M. D. Lamb, Maxey Funeral Home making burial in Fairland Cemetery. Brembry, born at Blossom, died Oct. 3 of an apparent heart attack. He had lived here since graduating from the former Gibbons High School and being a World War II overseas veteran. He leaves his wife, Marie, teacher at T. G. Givens Elementary School; a foster son, Kenneth Ray Finney, and a stepsister, Mrs. Margaret Dupree of Magnolia, Tex."

Tombstone is inscribed, "Texas Tec 4, US Army WW II."
