THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, December 11, 1960, p. 6: “C. L. BRAZILE. Charles LaRue Brazile, 833 E. Washington, was dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital at 7 p.m. Saturday after being taken there by a Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home ambulance. Born November 17, 1895, in Abilene, Mr. Brazile was the son of the late Jessie Thomas Brazile and Ida Lou Brazile. He married the former Miss Annie Kathryn Hearn on February 18, 1914. He was a retired carpenter and had lived in Paris for the past 45 years. Funeral services are pending at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home to be conducted by the Rev. Gene Burgess, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Brazile was a member of the Baptist Church and the Carpenters Union. He is survived by his wife; two daughtersw, Mrs. James L. Hansen of Valley Springs, S. D., and Mrs. Howard Befille of Petty; three sons, Jack L. Braile of Paris, Howard E. Brazile of Abilene; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Gibbs of Oklahoma City; Mrs. F. E. Towsey of Livingston, Mont., Mrs. J. C. Ridge of Ft. Worth and Mrs. Harry Swafford of Odessa, and six grandchildren.”

THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, December 12, 1960, p. 2: “BRAZILE FUNERAL. The funeral of Charles L. Brazile, 833 E. Washington St., who died late Saturday, was set Monday at 4 p.m. at Fry & Gibbs chapel with interment in Meadowbrook Gardens.”
