THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Sep. 9, 1996, p.5A. 'Woodrow Phillip Bray, 49, of Paris, died Friday, Sep. 6, 1996, at his home. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 10, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert O'Neill officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Bray was born March 24, 1947, in Paris. He was a son of Earnest Woodrow and Inez Norvell Bray. He graduated from Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College. He has served in the Texas National Guard 15 years. He was retired from the Texas Highway Department after 25 years as the sign shop supervisor Mr. Bray also was an avid bull rider, receiving his training under Todd Whatley. He was a member of the Graham Street Baptist Church. Mr. Bray is survived by four daughters, Johnetta Cunningham and her husband Brandon of Corpus Christi, Camey Boyer and her husband Mickey of Hope, AR, Seallie Bray of Honey Grove, and Shawntell Golden and her husband Adam of Paris; two sisters, Mary Nell Crockett of Dallas and Patsy Bray Pierce and her husband Hershel of Dallas; a grandchild, Jacob Cunningham of Corpus Christi; five nieces and nephews and an aunt, Joe Norvell of Paris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Norvell Bray, Sep. 6, 1991. Pallbearers will be David Floyd, Jerry Pierce, Brad Hutchison, Keith Mitchell, Mike Saunders and Boyd Griffin.'
