| Notes LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 18 Dec 1985. 'Daisy Mae Brashears, 1355 W. Cherry, died Saturday, 14 Dec 1985, at Parkview Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, 17 Dec., at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Crisp officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Brashears was born 11 Dec 1894, in Texas, a daughter of Arthur Garnett and Ella Warren Fuquay. She married Frank Brashears. He preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Ella) Hobgood of Paris; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Jewell) Semrell of Lancaster; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.' |
