THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, March 11, 1958, p. 11: “William C. Branum. William C. Branum, 64, farmer at High, died Saturday at 11 a.m. after illness at his residence where he and his sister, Miss Irene Branum, made their home. Funeral services, Sunday at 4 p.m., will be held here at Gene Roden & Sons chapel by the Rev. J. L. Hyde, burial being arranged in Hickory Grove Cemetery, south of Petty. Son of the late Marion D. and Olive E. (Rodgers) Branum, William Branum was born May 14, 1893. He was unmarried, survivors being these sisters: Miss Branum of High; Mrs. R. L. Archer, and Mrs. Frank Davis. Paris, and Mrs. H. A. Rhodes, Honey Grove, and a brother, Tom W. Branum, Roxton.”
