| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Jan. 17, 1993, p. 10A: 'Kenneth R. Branum, Rt. 1, Sherman, died Sat., Jan. 15, at Medical Plaza Nursing Home. Services at 2 p.m. Mon., Jan. 18, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Weldon Hutson. Born in Roxton, a son of Andrew & Ora Kirkham Branum, he married Jean Hawkins on May 7, 1949, in Paris. He attended Roxton schools & was retired from Texaco. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; a son, Curtis Branum of McKinney; a daughter, Cindy Branum of Odessa; a brother, Keith Branum of Abilene; a sister, Ima Nell Rhodes of Paris; & several nieces & nephews.' On the same stone with Jean Hawkins Branum. Also has a military marker inscribed, 'SSgt US Army World War II.' |
