THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Jan. 28, 1996, p.10A. 'Bobbie B. Brackeen of Paris died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1996, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Graveside services are Sunday, Jan. 28, at 2:30 p.m. in Meadowbrook Gardens under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. James Elsom officiating. Mrs. Brackeen, 80, was born April 3, 1915, in Point, a daughter of Joe David and Mamie Dixon Boyer. She married William Noble Brackeen Aug. 19, 1936. He died March 9, 1991. A retired licensed vocational nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center, Mrs. Brackeen was a Baptist and member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, Billy Bob Brackeen of Paris; one daughter, Anna Beth Searock of Medford, NJ; one sister, Norma Stephens of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.' Grave location has not been verified and is assumed to be next to spouse.
