| Notes Funeral Home Record: Sunday, Dec. 10, 1972: Ervie Lee Bowman was born in Lamar County, Texas September 13, 1934. He attended the Gibbons High School and was graduated. On graduation from high school Ervie Lee enrolled in the Hutson-Tillotson College in Austin, Texas and attended three and a half years. While there he majored in music. In 1956 he married Miss Robbie Boone. They had one child. Mr. Bowman went to the army for three years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mattie Bowman, Paris, Texas; one daughter, Miss Cheryl Bowman, Midland, Texas; one brother, Theodis W. Bowman, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Jackson, Miss Willie Bell Bowman, and Miss Doretha Bowman. Mr. Bowman is also survived by five aunts, Mrs. Minnie Bailey, Mrs. Helen Wilson, both of Paris, Texas; Mrs. Hannah Young and Mrs. Elzona Rollerson, both of Hugo; Mrs. Candy Bills of Ohio; Five nephews and one niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.
