The Paris News, June 24, 1969; Services for Brice Bowman, 66, of Rt. 5, Paris, a rancher who died Saturday, were held Monday at Gene Roden & Sons Chapel by the Rev. Donald Bush of Graham Street Baptist Chapel, burial being made in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Bearers were James Hargroves, Lloyd Price, O.L. Powers, John D. Satcher, John W. (Dub) Williams and Paul Garrett.
Information from Patsy Edmondson Bowman, 5 Feb 1995, P.O. Box 1083, Sulphur Springs, TX, 75483: Brice Elmore Bowman was the son of Elmore Brice and Emma Pearl McFadden Bowman. He was born in Lamar County and married Emma May Long 9 Jan 1926. He died of a heart attack in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paris. John D. Bowman was the son of Brice and Emma Bowman. John was born 28 Oct 1940 in Lamar County and married Patsy Edmondson 25 Nov 1960 in Paris.

Additional information 5 Feb 1995 from Thomas Bowman, 215 32nd NE, Paris, TX, 75460: Wife’s name was Emma Mae Long.

From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; son of Elmore and Emma McFadden Bowman. Born in Lamar County, TX., died in Paris, TX. Exact death date was not recorded. Registered between 27 May 1969 and 5 Jul 1969.
