THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, November 25, 1959, p. 2: “MRS. W. G. BOREN. Paris News Service. Mrs. W. G. Boren, 72, ill some time, died at home in Broadway community, Tuesday about 8 p.m. Born in Texas, September 17, 1887, she was the former Miss Martha Elizabeth Lee, daughter of the late Norman and Celina (Wynn) Lee. Surviving are her husband; these children by a former marriage: Miss Hazel Howard and Norman Howard, Broadway; Mrs. W. D. Weisler and Mrs. Sam Grinstead Paris, and Mrs. Austin Johnson, Dallas; besides a number of other descendants, and her brothers and sisters. The funeral, Friday at 10 a.m., will be conducted at the Midway church. Hubert Roach, Paris Church of Christ minister, officiating. McDonald Funeral Home of Cooper has charge of burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, east of Paris.”
