THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, July 9, 1961, p. 4: “MRS. HANNAH BOONE. Mrs. Hannah Boone, 449-l1th NE, widow of Bud Boone, Negro resident of Paris died Saturday about 12:15 p.m. after long illness. Surviving are these children: Prof. Robert Boone, Leonard Boone, Raymond Boone, James Boone and Mrs. Kathryn Simmons, all of Paris, and Mrs. Louise Biglow, Omaha, Neb., a number of other descendants, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Dawkins, Paris. William Maxey Funeral Home has charge of burial arrangements.”
