| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Mon. Feb. 17, 1997, p.5A: 'Joe Louis Booker Sr., 58, 1232 W. Cherry, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Rondie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Garden Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Lisa; four Sons, Larry Booker of Dallas, Billy Joe Booker of Fort Worth, Joe Louis Booker Jr. of Sherman and William Deshong Booker of Louisiana; two daughters, Carolyn Jean Clark of Marshall and Patricia Diane Booker of Dallas; two stepchildren, Betty Starr and Helen Jones of Dallas; four brothers, C.B. Booker of Brookston, Gene Booker of Paris, James Booker of Dallas and R. B. Booker of Albuquerque, NM; three sisters, Doris Brown and Maydell Furtch of Paris and Betty Jo Alexander of Dallas; and one grandchild.' On Feb. 19, 1997, by phone, Maxey Funeral Home supplied birthdate as shown and names of parents as Cordie and Laura Powell Booker. |
