THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, July 19, 1987, Pg. 4: “LAURINBURG, N.C.- Former Paris resident Martha Jane Bonham, 77 born Feb. 14, 1910 in Clinton, Ind., died Friday at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Lauringburg Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Marilyn) Wardle of Laurinburg; one sister, Mrs. Cecile Williamson of Terre Haute, Ind.; and three granddaughters. The family requests memorials to Lauringburg Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 826, Lauringburg, N.C., 28352.”
