| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, 13 Oct 1976: 'Mrs. Jessie S. Blair of 381-24th SE died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital. Graveside services were to be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Regan officiating. Delta Funeral Home of Cooper is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Blair was born in Lamar County on 25 Jun 1896, the daughter of Jeff Smith and Rose Martin. She moved to Dallas in 1930 and back to Paris in 1971. She married [A. W.] Andy Blair in 1930. He preceded her in death in Jul, 1963. Survivors include three step-daughters, Mrs. Helen Blair Newman Lawrence of Midland, Lorene Blair Morgan of Highland, W. Va., and Sue Blair Shelton of Pottsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Newt (Earle) White of Paris and Mrs. W.M. (May) Smith, also of Paris; and several step grandchildren.' |
