THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 21 May 1981: 'Mrs. Debra L. Blackshear, 24, of 739-7th NW died Sunday morning, 17 May 1981, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services for Mrs. Blackshear were held Tuesday afternoon, 19 May in the Grapevine Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home. Burial was in Bluebonnet Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Blackshear was a native of Grapevine and was a licensed vocational nurse at the Veteran's Hospital in Bonham. She is survived by her parents, Jack and Shelba Briscoe of Paris; a daughter, Angelia Dawn Blackshear of Paris; three brothers, Johnny Ray Briscoe, Jackie Lynn Briscoe and Timothy Eugene Briscoe, all of Paris; two stepsisters, Jamie Livingston and Cindy Livingston, both of Irving; and her grandparents, Charles Lester Briscoe of California, Mr. and Mrs. Gracie Lee Hilton of Canton and Mrs. Fannie Rich of Grapevine.'
