THE PARIS NEWS, June 11, 1964: Mrs. Lee Blackburn, Route 2, Paris, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Fry & Gibbs Chapel. Mason Denton and the Rev. C. G. Renfro, pastor of the Blossom Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was made in Union Grove Cemetery. The former Miss Margaret Isom, she was born July 15, 1905, at Reno, daughter of the late John Isom and Mollie Snell Isom. She married Lee Blackburn Dec. 22, 1929 in Paris and had lived all he married life at Sylvan community, east of Paris. Mr. Blackburn was a member of the Blossom Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Miss Camelia Blackburn, Paris, and Mrs. Sonny Templeton, Clarksville; three sons, Harold Blackburn, Blossom and Donald Blackburn and Mike Blackburn , both of Sylvan; one sister, Mrs. J. W. Henderson, Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Frank Isom, Denton and J. C. Isom, Midlothian; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
