THE PARIS NEWS-May 10,1968: Mrs. Delia Magune Black--, burn, 7S, of 1503 E. Polk died Friday at 6:05 ajtn. at Me- Cuistion Hospital, after fQurf months illness. Daughter of Samuel L. and Sarah (Carlyle) Kennedy, she was born in Franklin County, Aria a Aug. 30, 1SS9. The funeral, at Fry Gibbs chapel, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Kerby Edwards of Calvary Metho i Church, where Mrs. Blackburn was a member. Burial will be made in Union Grove Cemetery, east of Paris. The family came to Texas in 1900. and Mrs. Blackburn attended school at Sylvan and Reno before her marriage, she and Mr. Blackburn moving to Paris 10 years ago. He died in October. 1S63. Surviving are two grandchildren: Mrs. Patricia Bosw 11. Paris, "and Robert Blackb m. U.S. Marine Corps in California; a sister, Mrs. Ora Agnes Bybee, Paris, and a brother, J. L. Kennedy, Garland.
