| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, July 10, 1978, p. 6: "Mrs. Sarah Black of 610-2nd NE died Friday at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home in Paris. Services will be held Tuesday at Maxey Funeral Home at 3 p.m. with the Rev. A. R. Martin, pastor of the Solid Rock Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Mrs. Black was born April 14 1894 in Rosalie, and was the daughter of Bill and Clara Morgan. She was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Amarillo. Mrs. Black is survived by one son Clarence Black of Amarillo; two daughters, Miss Carrie Black of Paris and Mrs. Lorene Dillard of St. Paul, Minn.; one sister, Mrs Mittie Taylor of Paris and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild." |
