THE PARIS NEWS, 26 Sep 1966: 'Joe Binnion, 52, a plumber here, died Monday at 11:30 a.m. at home, 505 24th SE, after long ill health. He was a son of Lee and Ernie (Cannon) Binnion, born in Paris, 14 Mar 1914. The funeral, Wednesday at 2 p.m., will be held at Gene Roden and Sons chapel here, and interment made at Tigertown, Northwest of Paris. He had attended Paris schools and was a Presbyterian, and served in the Army in World War II. He married Miss Mildred Barham, 13 Jul 1943, and she survives, besides a son, Randy Binnion; a brother, J. E. Binnion, Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. R. B. Jessee of Gilmer.'
Buried next to Jayson Ernest Binnion. Tombstone is inscribed, 'Texas Tec 5, US Army WW II.'
