THE PARIS NEWS, 24 Jan 1956: 'Mrs. Lee Binnion of Paris, died Monday at 8 p.m. in Gilmer at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. B. Jessee. She had been in ill health some time. The funeral will be held here at Gene Roden and Sons chapel, and burial will be made at Tigertown, but the time had not been announced. The former Miss Ernie Cannon, Mrs. Binnion was born in Lamar County, 9 Mar 1889 [sic]. Her husband, Jason Lee Binnion, longtime shoe salesman here, died last November 14. She had been a member of Central Presbyterian Church here since girlhood. Surviving besides her daughter are three sons, J. E. (Ernest) Binnion and Joe R. Binnion, both of Paris, and Clyde Binnion, Austin, and three sisters: Mrs. Lee Hancock, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Bill Collins, Paris, and Mrs. Ella Claiborne, Wayne, Mich.'
