THE PARIS NEWS, (Date of obituary not available.): 'William A. (Buster) Binford, 51, longtime drug clerk here, died Monday at 7 p.m. at 58-13th NW, where he made his home with his stepfather, J. T. Lassiter. His death was sudden, though he had been in ill health the past two years. The funeral, Wednesday at 10 a.m., will be conducted at Fry and Gibbs chapel by the Rev. John McLean of Garrett Memorial Methodist Church, where Mr. Binford was a member. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Keith Maxwell, Sherman; an uncle, A. C. Beckerley of Paris, and an aunt, Mrs. S. C. Wood of Kerrville, besides his stepfather. Son of the late Will Binford and the former Miss Arlena Beckerly, Buster Binford was born in Paris, 22 Nov 1907 [sic]. He attended Paris public schools, Paris Junior College and Texas Military Academy at Terrell, being active in sports at all these schools, especially in baseball and football. He afterward was employed at the old Lassiter drug store on Bonham Street and in recent years, at the Palace Drug Store, before his health failed.'
