THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, UNDATED: Mrs. W. R. Bills, 53, of 1119 Fairfax, died Wednesday, April 25, 1973, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with e Rev. J. L. Wideman and Bryan Denney officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery. Ruby Lee Davidson Bills was born April 12, 1920, at Sumner, daughter of J. H. and Hattie Adams Davidson. She attended schools in Lamar County and married W. R. Bills on May 19, 1956, in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church and its Hannah Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Miss Nancy Bills of Paris; five sisters, Mrs. Urna Watson of McKinney, Mrs. Claude Barnes of Paris, Mrs. Andy Roper of Decatur, Alabama, Mrs. Delbert Dicken of Powderly and Mrs. Dan Reed of Biardstown; three half-brothers, Dewey Adams of Shamrock, Herman Adams of Pampa, and J. A. Davidson of Phoenix, Arizona; two half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Turner of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Jocie Wright of Birch Tree, Missouri and several nephews.
