THE PARIS NEWS, 26 Mar 1990. 'Peggy Sue Coplin Bills, 50, wife of Joe Bills, 701 E. Fifth Ave., Mitchell, S.D., died Saturday, 24 Mar 1990, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 27 Mar, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Othoe Stegall and Haskell England officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Bills was born 4 Nov 1939, in Paris, a daughter of Bill Coplin and Cleo McDaniel Coplin. She attended Delmar schools and Paris Junior College and East Texas State University. She married Joe W. Bills on 25 Nov 1959, in Howland. They moved to Lufkin for 10 years before moving to South Dakota in 1979. She was a member of the Northridge Baptist Church in Mitchell and was a member of its adult Sunday school class. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Suzanne Jelden of Leadville, Colo.; one son, Alan Bills of Mitchell; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coplin of Paris; two brothers, Jim Coplin of Paris and Ted Coplin of Fort Worth; and her mother-in-law, Aylene Bills of Marshall, Texas.'
