| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 18 Jun 1987. 'Matilda Bills of 610 Deshong Dr. died Wednesday, 10 Jun 1987, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were Wednesday, in the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Blossom. Rev. R.L. Gray officiated. Burial was in the Egypt Cemetery in Blossom. Mrs. Bills was born 28 Oct 1895, in Blossom. She attended schools in Blossom. Her parents were the late Lige Thomas and Bobby Lee Thomas. Survivors are three grandchildren, Cecil Smith of Paris, Curtis Smith of Denver, Colo., and Bobbie Joe Johnson of Paris; one sister, Fannie Mae Thomas of Paris; and several nieces and nephews.' A Maxey Funeral Home marker in 1994. Near Mary Bruce and an unreadable funeral home marker. The cemetery marker was read as being inscribed '28 Oct 1900- 6 Oct 1987.' |
